Hi I’m Tom Terry – thank you for visiting my blog. For over the past 20 years I have been working very close with dentist, helping them to make their offices safer for staff and patients. I am in 4-7 dental offices daily working side-by-side with staff so I know what is like to be in the “trenches”.  I can say that dental professionals are hard working people and they try their very best to be compliant with regulations, but often fall to confusion and frustration, because of bad information (aka B.S.).

There are too many consultants and instructors who don’t know the difference between a sharp container and their ass telling dentists OSHA this and OSHA that. Besides not producing the right results, bad information is costing dentist thousands of dollars and a huge waste of time.

There is also another casualty of bad information, dental professionals are being brain washed to believe that OSHA is the only compliance agency that inspects dental offices and what makes a dental office compliant is a MSDS binder, labels and signs (a box of donuts wouldn’t hurt) almost to the point of turning them into zombies.

My take on the dental compliance saga is to go at it in a whole different way (which means I may have to start using deodorant). Based upon my extensive experience as a field inspector, investigator, healthcare consultant and instructor, I have created a methodology that is simple yet result producing. I see myself more as a mentor who with a helping hand, provides precise information, simple solutions, achieves desired results and along the way make friends. (I am always looking for people to drink with) I apply this methodology in everything I do and in every service and product I produce.

Now I will be the first to admit that my methodology isn’t for everyone.  My speaking and teaching style is from the holster with a heavy dose of twisted mind sense of humor however I am known to step on a few fingers (don’t blame me if your hands drag on the ground when you walk) so I am warning you – do not engage in my services, ask for my advice, buy my products or attend any of my seminars if are on heart medications, on parole, do self-shock treatments with a taser gun, or have Dr. Phil’s phone number on your speed dial. Other than that, let’s have a little fun while taming the dental compliance beast!
